Spot colors (Pantone)

Some colors can't be mixed exactly from CMYK – a very specific brand red, for example. For that there are predefined spot colors from color systems like Pantone (in Germany also HKS), applied as a ready-mixed ink. That keeps brand colors consistent, but usually costs extra. PreflightPilot lists the spot colors it finds in your PDF – only use them if your printer expects them.
