Fold types (roll fold, Z-fold)

How a folded leaflet is folded. A Z-fold (accordion fold) goes back and forth like an accordion. A roll fold tucks the panels inward one after another – the innermost panel has to be slightly narrower so nothing buckles. Good to know when you distribute content across the panels. Booklets with saddle stitching need a page count divisible by 4.
